Terms, Privacy & Disclaimers

Ownership. ConstructIQ (the “Service”) is owned and operated by Stowers Scalable Strategies and Analysis, LLC (“ConstructIQ”, “we”, “us”). All software, content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by ConstructIQ or its licensors.

License grant. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

Restrictions. You may not (a) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code; (c) use the Service to build a competing product; (d) bypass usage limits, access controls, or security measures.

Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activity, to upload malicious code, to infringe third-party rights, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data.

Termination. Either party may terminate the agreement for material breach with 30 days' written notice and an opportunity to cure. We may suspend access immediately for security threats or non-payment. Upon termination, your access ceases and your data is retained per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue for disputes lies in the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

Data we collect

• Account: name, email, company name, role.
• Project financial data you enter (contracts, costs, billing, change orders, pay applications).
• Usage data (page views, feature usage, AI queries, error logs).

How we use it

• Delivering and operating the Service.
• Aggregated analytics to improve features.
• Powering AI-assisted analysis you request.

How we store it

Data is stored on Supabase and Lovable Cloud infrastructure with US-based primary servers. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).

Retention

Account and project data is retained while your account is active and for three (3) years after account closure to support audit and tax records, then deleted or anonymized.

User rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data at any time.

GDPR rights (EU residents)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you additionally have: the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. Submit requests to privacy@constructiqinsights.com. We respond within 30 days.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Cookies

ConstructIQ uses session cookies only for authentication. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
